Who we are and what we do:
Tricities Iraninan Mini Soccer Festival - TIMS is a non-profit organization and is running by positive and committed volunteers to make a memorable time for all participants to enjoy playing mini soccer games together in order to build community spirit. It was organized by a few self motivated mini soccer and Futsal lovers to encourage the Iranian - Canadian community at Tricity area to participate in the sport, from kids through adults as a cultural and athletic event. Our main purpose is to get together as a community with our kids in a friendly atmosphere to experience the popular game
in the world culturally and athletically. 1st mini soccer festival
was hold on April 5, 2015 at Gates Park, Port Coquitlam and
several hundreds people attended to celebrate Sizdeh Be-dar
with picnic, music, dance, food and mini soccer games.

Gold Fish represents all of us as emigrants who love to play soccer.
Goldfish have made up an important part of the Iranian New Year
festivities for thousands. And it also shows the positive side of our
tradition that has been practiced for roughly 3,000 years.
Little fish in our modern literature is the journey of a small fish
who leaves the local stream to venture into the ocean for FREEDOM!

Grass: Green or grass is the symbol of Spring, Persian New year colour Nowruz and also soccer field.
